"We have sought to make a yacht as CNB as possible … CNB yachts express a kind of elegance ‘‘à la Française’’, combining balance, symmetry, modesty and refinement in every last detail."
Jean-Marc Piaton, interior designer of the CNB 76

The CNB 76 accomodations

Once you have crossed the boat’s large cockpit, the CNB 76 magic works when you enter the salon: the panoramic view  from inside is surprising for a yacht with such fluid, elegant  exterior  hull and cabintop lines. Thank you, Philippe Briand!

The accommodations, by interior designer Jean Marc Piaton are stylish, comfortable and functional. The double aft cabin and the galley will welcome extremely comfortably a  professional crew whose presence will not intrude on the owner’s and guests’ privacy.

CNB 76 layout

A yacht built for owners, with an independent crew area, luxurious VIP cabins , a huge salon with panoramic view, and the possibility to modulate layouts in consideration of the sailing program and the persons to expected on board.

Why own a CNB 76?

Offshore Elegant Functional Luxurious Reassuring Performant Semi-Custom

«With a length of 76 feet (23.17 metres), the CNB 76 is a real luxury yacht but of a reasonable size, easy to handle short-handed. Safe and efficient, thanks to the seaworthiness qualities of her hull and her simple, efficient deck layout.» Philippe Briand, naval architect of the CNB 76.

1500L of water, 2500L of fuel, Volvo D4 180 hp engine, water maker with capacity of 280L/h, ... a luxury yacht to explore the seven seas with total peace of mind.

A large and fully-equipped maneuvering area, clearly separated from the living spaces, is centred aroundthe twin helming positions with their lateral seat close to the maneuvering winches  and electronic controls.

Contemporary and simple exterior lines, a sleek outline: the CNB 76 is a 21st century yacht.

« A kind of elegance ‘‘à la Française’’, combining balance, symmetry, modesty and refinement in every last detail. Classic and innovative, graceful and contemporary, light and comfortable, and above all pleasing to the eye and to live in.» Jean-Marc Piaton, interior designer of the CNB 76.

Separated from the maneuvering area, the forward part of the cockpit is welcoming, safe and comfortable. A large extending table offers two positions (dining or sunbathing) protected by a recessible  bimini, hidden in the roof.

As convivial when at anchor as they are comfortable when heeling, the port side sofa can be converted into two facing armchairs separated by a bar.

To port, a large double cabin, the bed of which can be changed into two single berths, and the possibility to make  a "pullman" bed, by adding a third mattress.

To starboard, the “younger crew” cabin: 2 bunk beds, the lower one can be transformed into a double bed.

A large galley: located in the aft part of the boat, designed to be as pleasant at sea as at anchor, the CNB 76 galley has a direct access to cockpit. Perfectly well-ventilated, superiorly equipped it is both user-friendly and professional. Thanks to the central work plan, this galley is a particularly convivial place.

It is located in the centre of the boat and very easily accessed from the saloon and the galley gangway. The sound insulation has been carefully looked after. As on board  superyachts, the CNB 76's engine room is perfectly designed for easy management and maintenance of the yacht's different systems.

The garage is designed to receive a 3,85 m long tender and it can be stored or launched in less than one minute via an electric winch and the large hydraulic swim platform. Large storage volumes are available on each side of the garage.

Bright and modular, the saloon offers more than 2 metres headroom, and panoramic views on the horizon even when seated.

Located forward so as to be isolated from the noise of life on board, the owner's cabin is peaceful and bathed in light, thanks to numerous opening deck hatches and portholes. The bed faces forward so as to keep privacy even when the door is open, and also gives a huge impression of space.

The practical, refined bathroom is well insulated. It separates the owner's cabin from the guest cabin to port and is closed to its bathroom.

The deck, the hull and structural bulkheads are built in sandwich composite using the infusion technique, with carbon reinforcements in the most stressed areas and the hull bottom, makink the CNB 76 a safe and solid yacht. The weight distribution is optimized for a comfortable sailing  even with  heavy seas.

A very significant tooling investment has been made by CNB to optimize the CNB 76’s building process, while providing a quality of construction above reproach.

The design of the hull, with the high freeboard and aft chine, ensures a very good stability.

A completely flush fore deck to the foot of the mast, wide side decks for safe circulation.

The Philippe Briand designed hull is fast, powerful and secure. It’s an ultra modern design with  aft chines and a sharp, vertical bow. The fairly high freeboard of the CNB 76 also makes her a dry boat. Last but not least, the centering of the weights ensures a comfortable and fast ride in choppy seas.

With a rather aft located mast, the rig configuration allows an excellent  repartition between the mainsail and the foresails (many various sail combinations  are possible).

The rather aft location of the mastgives the CNB 76 a large foretriangle  which gives the self tacking staysail  selection its full meaning and allows many foresails choices (genoa, Code 0, gennaker…).

Three different mast types are available : standard, performance (carbonfibre spar) or for in mast furling. Each owner will find the best adapted combination to his/her sailing programme.

The double rudder allows to offer a retractable keel as an option. The owners will have to choose between different types of keels according to his priorities and needs.

Of course, numerous wood finishes are available for the inside cabinet work, as well as a large choice of upholsteries and linings.

Last but not least, the CNB 76 has been developed like a superyacht. The inside accommodations are designed to satisfy  the expectations of the  most demanding owners, whether they wish to have a crew onboard or not. But the boat also benefits from CNB’s experience in “one off” yachts construction: while relying  on proven conception, construction and equipment, the CNB 76  R & D technicians remain attentive to our clients specific requests.

Patricia-M. Colmant
